„After Praia, we are now on Sal, Espargos – such a contrast to Carrical! It was wonderful in the turtle house, we felt very comfortable. This box seat opposite the harbour offered us a varied programme all day with fishermen, anglers and herons and the food at Anna’s restaurant was varied and always delicious. What we particularly liked about your flat was that so many things were so practical: everything we needed such as bottle openers, clothes pegs, cleaning cloths and plastic tins for food etc. was available. From the aeroplane we saw the village again, small and lost in the mountain desert, a very special spot on Sao Nicolau. How good that we were able to enjoy it for a whole week. The Beramar restaurant was financed as a crowd-funding project to provide a family with an income and create some jobs in the village. The food is fantastic, even a Michelin-starred chef was full of praise. And the people from Chronos (time travel) and Wikinger-Reisen are delighted with the place and the food.
